December 2015 Program
Everyone enjoyed the delicious meal prepared by the men’s group of Waynesboro Church of the Brethren.An appetizer course of fruits, dip, cheeses and crackers was followed by an entree course of roast (fried) pork, white and dark meat turkey, green beans, boiled potatoes and dinner rolls.
Just when it was clear no one could eat another mouthful, THREE kinds of fruit pie were served - apple, cherry and berry - along with ice cream to elevate the pies to “a la mode”.
The gift exchange was a lot of fun and all who participated thank their secret Santas for their goodies!
Calvin and Katherine led the group in carols afterward to round out the festivities.
Bravo to the Church of the Brethren’s men’s group for a fine repast again this year!
