SVGMS Field Trips

The club arranges several official field trips per year for members to go collect rocks from interesting and varied locales around the region. Other types of field trips are also scheduled, including educational destinations such as the JMU Mineral Museum.

There is no better way to become more engaged with the appeal of rocks and minerals than to go experience them in their native environment!
